دکتر کیوان دهناد؛ مهمان ویژه مسابقات جودو گرند اسلم توکیو ۲۰۲۵
توکیو ۲۰۲۵ بدون حضور حتی یک ورزشکار ایرانی آغاز میشود؛ اما نام یک ایرانی همچنان بر سکوهای جهانی شنیده میشود. دکتر کیوان دهناد اینبار نه برای قضاوت، بلکه بهعنوان مهمان ویژه در قلب معتبرترین رقابت جودو جهان حضور دارد.
به گزارش رادیو نشاط، مسابقات جهانی جودو گرند اسلم توکیو ۲۰۲۵ در روزهای ۶ و ۷ دسامبر در سالن معتبر Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium برگزار میشود؛ رقابتی که هر سال بهعنوان یکی از مهمترین رویدادهای تقویم فدراسیون جهانی جودو شناخته میشود و بسیاری از قهرمانان المپیک و جهان برای کسب امتیاز و رنکینگ در مسیر انتخابی المپیک ۲۰۲۸ لسآنجلس در آن به روی تاتامی میروند. سطح کیفی مسابقات توکیو همیشه چشمگیر بوده و انتظار میرود در سال ۲۰۲۵ نیز شاهد مبارزات نزدیک و بسیار فنی باشیم.
در این دوره، دکتر کیوان دهناد به عنوان مهمان ویژه در توکیو حضور خواهد داشت. دکتر دهناد از چهرههای معتبر داوری بینالمللی جودو است و سابقه حضور او در گرند اسلم توکیو به بیش از سه دهه بازمیگردد. نخستین حضور رسمی وی در سال ۱۹۹۲ ثبت شد؛ دورهای که مسابقات تحت عنوان جام جیگارو کانو – یادمان بنیانگذار جودو – برگزار شد و او در آن سال داوری فینالها را بر عهده داشت؛ افتخاری که نشاندهنده جایگاه قابل توجه او نزد فدراسیون جهانی بود.
با وجود گستردگی و اهمیت این رویداد، در سال ۲۰۲۵ هیچ جودوکاری از ایران به این مسابقات دعوت نشده و حضور دکتر دهناد بهعنوان میهمان ویژه، تنها نمایندگی نمادین جامعه جودو با ریشه ایرانی در این تورنمنت بزرگ محسوب میشود. این حضور میتواند فرصتی برای تعاملهای جدید و توجه دوباره به ظرفیتهای فنی و داوری چهرههای ایرانی در سطح بینالمللی باشد.
طبق اعلام رسمی، ۲۹۲ جودوکار از ۴۳ کشور در این دوره روی تاتامی میروند و ۱۵۴ هزار یورو جایزه نقدی برای مدالآوران در نظر گرفته شده است. ترکیب قهرمانان سرشناس حاضر در رقابتها، گرند اسلم توکیو ۲۰۲۵ را به یکی از مهمترین نبردهای سال در تقویم جهانی جودو تبدیل کرده است.

Dr Keyvan Dehnad – Special Guest at the 2025 Judo Grand Slam Tokyo
Tokyo 2025 begins without a single Iranian judoka on the tatami; yet the name of an Iranian continues to resonate on the global stage. This time, Dr Keyvan Dehnad attends not as a referee, but as an official special guest at one of the most prestigious judo tournaments in the world.
According to Radio Neshat, the 2025 Judo Grand Slam Tokyo will take place on 6–7 December at the renowned Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. The tournament is considered one of the most important events in the International Judo Federation (IJF) calendar, where Olympic and world champions compete to earn ranking points on the pathway towards qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The Tokyo Grand Slam has consistently been known for its high technical level, and the 2025 edition is expected to showcase intense and closely contested matches.
In this edition, Dr Keyvan Dehnad will attend as a special guest. He is regarded as one of the respected international judo referees, with a longstanding history linked to the Tokyo Grand Slam spanning over three decades. His first official participation dates back to 1992, when the competition was held under the title Jigoro Kano Cup in honour of judo’s founder. In that year, he officiated the final matches, a role reserved for top-tier referees recognised by the IJF.
Despite the scale and prestige of the event, no judoka from Iran has been invited to the 2025 tournament, making Dr Dehnad the only figure of Iranian heritage present at this major world event. His presence represents a symbolic connection to the Iranian judo community and may create opportunities for renewed interaction and recognition of Iranian-origin officials within the international arena.
As officially announced, 292 athletes from 43 countries will compete this year, with a total prize pool of €154,000 allocated for medal winners. The participation of world-class champions positions the 2025 Tokyo Grand Slam as one of the most anticipated and impactful competitions in the global judo calendar.
