این مسیر هوشمندانه، نه تنها فرصتی علمی و حرفه‌ای برای دانشجویان فراهم می‌آورد، بلکه پلی میان دو فرهنگ می‌سازد؛ پلی که بر پایه احترام متقابل، آموزش کیفی، و چشم‌انداز جهانی بنا شده است.

دکتر مکس کانوی، مدیرعامل و رئیس این موسسه، در گفت‌وگو با رادیو نشاط، از شکل‌گیری این همکاری می‌گوید:
«نخستین جرقه این ایده در سال ۲۰۱۶ و هنگام سفرم به جزیره کیش برای برگزاری سمینارهای رهبری زده شد. برخورد با فرهنگی پویا، مردمی مهمان‌نواز و فضایی سرشار از کنجکاوی فکری باعث شد متوجه شوم ظرفیت بزرگی برای همکاری آموزشی بین دو کشور وجود دارد.»
او که در سفرهای بعدی خود به تهران، شیراز و کیش، روحیه نوگرایی و علاقه متخصصان ایرانی به دانش روز را لمس کرده بود، این انگیزه را داشت که پلی میان آموزش ایران و استرالیا بسازد. این رویا اکنون با امضای توافق‌نامه رسمی به واقعیت پیوسته است.
ساختار برنامه چگونه است؟
این برنامه با دوره‌های مقدماتی در ایران آغاز می‌شود که شامل آموزش مدیریت و رهبری، شرکت در کارگاه‌ها و سمینارهای کاربردی است. پس از موفقیت در این مرحله، دانشجویان برای ویزای تحصیلی استرالیا اقدام کرده و در صورت تأیید، وارد مرحله دوم در پردیس دارلینگ هاربر سیدنی می‌شوند؛ جایی که به‌مدت دو سال در رشته رهبری راهبردی (Strategic Leadership) آموزش می‌بینند.
دکتر کانوی تأکید می‌کند که «این برنامه فقط یک دوره آموزشی نیست، بلکه پلی فرهنگی و حرفه‌ای است که به دانشجویان کمک می‌کند با چشم‌اندازی جهانی، وارد دنیای کار و رهبری شوند.»
تجربه‌ای فراتر از آموزش
پردیس موسسه در قلب منطقه مشهور دارلینگ هاربر واقع شده است؛ منطقه‌ای فرهنگی، تجاری و توریستی در سیدنی که فضای یادگیری را با تجربه زندگی شهری در هم آمیخته است. دانشجویان در کنار کلاس‌های مدرن و امکانات آموزشی پیشرفته، با فضای شهری، رویدادهای فرهنگی و جامعه جهانی دانشجویی آشنا می‌شوند.

همچنین، بورسیه‌ها و کمک‌هزینه‌های تحصیلی برای افراد واجد شرایط در نظر گرفته شده تا آموزش برای همه قابل‌دسترس‌تر باشد. در صورت رد ویزا، شهریه پرداختی نیز به دانشجو بازگردانده می‌شود.
دانشجویان ایرانی، پیشگامان این مسیر
نخستین گروه از دانشجویان ایرانی در پایان سال گذشته وارد استرالیا شدند. دکتر کانوی می‌گوید: «دیدن اشتیاق، تلاش و مشارکت فعال این دانشجویان در کلاس‌ها و محیط دانشگاه واقعاً الهام‌بخش بود.»

This innovative collaboration offers Persian-speaking students a new academic pathway: beginning their foundational studies in Iran and completing their postgraduate degree in Australia.

The Spark Behind the Partnership
Dr. Max Conway, CEO and Principal of NSW Higher Education, shared with Radio Neshat the origins of this partnership:
“The first spark came in 2016 during my visit to Kish Island, where I was invited to present a leadership seminar. I was deeply impressed by Iran’s rich cultural energy, the hospitality of its people, and the intellectual curiosity I encountered.”
Dr. Conway’s visits to Tehran, Shiraz, and Kish further revealed a modern, forward-thinking spirit among Iranian professionals and students. Seeing this potential, he became committed to building an academic bridge between the two nations — a vision now realized through a formal agreement.
How the Program Works
The joint program begins in Iran, where students complete foundational studies in leadership and management, complemented by practical workshops and seminars. Once they complete this phase, they can apply for a student visa to Australia and, upon approval, transition to NSW Higher Education’s Darling Harbour campus in Sydney for a two-year postgraduate program in Strategic Leadership.
“This is more than an academic journey,” says Dr. Conway. “It’s a professional and cultural bridge that equips students with global perspectives and leadership skills.”

Located in the heart of Sydney’s renowned Darling Harbour, NSW Higher Education’s campus blends educational excellence with the vibrancy of urban life. The program offers more than just academic development — students are also permitted to work legally up to 48 hours per fortnight under their student visa during study periods, and full-time during holidays.
