کمیسیون چندفرهنگی ویکتوریا: اتحاد جامعه در برابر نفرت و خشونت ضروری است
کمیسیون چندفرهنگی ویکتوریا در بیانیه‌ای که به رادیو نشاط استرالیا ارسال نموده، بر اهمیت اتحاد، همبستگی و مقابله با جریان‌های نفرت‌پراکن تأکید کرد.
به گزارش رادیو نشاط، در این بیانیه با ادای احترام به دو افسر پلیس ویکتوریا که هفته گذشته جان خود را از دست دادند، از جامعه خواسته شده است با حمایت از «صندوق یادبود پلیس ویکتوریا» در کنار خانواده‌های داغدار بایستند.
کمیسیون همچنین با محکومیت تجمعات موسوم به «راهپیمایی برای استرالیا» اعلام کرده است: «هیچ جایگاهی برای نازی‌ها و نئونازی‌ها در حیات مدنی و اجتماعی ویکتوریا وجود ندارد.» این کمیسیون تأکید کرده که تلاش برای مقصر جلوه دادن جوامع چندفرهنگی اقدامی نگران‌کننده و مغایر با ارزش‌های ایالت است.
ویوین نوین، رئیس کمیسیون چندفرهنگی ویکتوریا، در ادامه این بیانیه تصریح کرده است: «قدرت واقعی ما در ایستادن در کنار یکدیگر و پاسداری از هماهنگی اجتماعی است که اساس ویکتوریا را شکل می‌دهد.»
بیانیه همچنین به برگزاری «گالای چندفرهنگی نخست‌وزیر ۲۰۲۵» با حضور بیش از ۱۲۰۰ مهمان اشاره کرده و آن را نمادی روشن از نقش برجسته جوامع چندفرهنگی در حوزه‌های بهداشت، آموزش، پژوهش، هنر، اقتصاد و زندگی اجتماعی دانسته است.
در بخش پایانی، کمیسیون چندفرهنگی ویکتوریا از کمیسیونرهایی که در سپتامبر ۲۰۲۵ دوره مأموریتشان به پایان می‌رسد قدردانی کرده و تأکید نموده است که این افراد با تجربه و تلاش‌های خود میراثی ماندگار برای جامعه چندفرهنگی ایالت بر جای گذاشته‌اند.
کمیسیون چندفرهنگی ویکتوریا در این بیانیه بار دیگر تعهد خود را به جامعه‌ای متنوع، منسجم و قوی یادآور شد و تأکید کرد که در برابر هرگونه تلاش برای تفرقه‌افکنی و نفرت‌پراکنی ایستادگی خواهد کرد.

Victorian Multicultural Commission: Unity Against Hatred and Violence Is Essential
The Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC), in a statement sent to Radio Neshat Australia, emphasized the importance of unity, solidarity, and confronting hate-driven movements.
According to Radio Neshat, the statement paid tribute to the two Victorian police officers who lost their lives last week and called on the community to support the families of the victims by contributing to the Victoria Police Legacy Remembrance Fund.
The Commission also condemned the so-called “March for Australia” rallies, declaring: “There is no place for Nazis and Neo-Nazis in the civic and social life of Victoria.” The VMC stressed that attempts to scapegoat multicultural communities are deeply concerning and run counter to the values of the state.
Vivienne Nguyen, Chairperson of the VMC, stated in the statement: “Our real strength lies in standing together and safeguarding the social harmony that underpins Victoria.”
The statement further highlighted the 2025 Premier’s Multicultural Gala Dinner, which welcomed more than 1,200 guests and showcased the vital contributions of multicultural communities across healthcare, education, research, the arts, business, and everyday social life.
In its closing remarks, the VMC expressed gratitude to commissioners whose terms conclude in September 2025, acknowledging their experience and dedication in strengthening community connections and leaving a lasting legacy for multicultural Victoria.
The Commission reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to a strong, cohesive, and diverse society and stressed that it will continue to stand firm against all forms of division and hate.
